Michael Galbreth
Pilot Corporation Chair of Excellence
Michael Galbreth received his B.S. from the University of Tennessee and his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. Prior to returning to academia, he was a manager in the Atlanta office of KPMG Consulting. Galbreth has taught in undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. programs on topics including business analytics, operations management, information systems, and circular economy. Before joining UT, he spent 12 years on the faculty of the University of South Carolina, where he was a seven-time winner of the IMBA outstanding professor award.
